Constitution

The Constitution is HSAA’s highest expression of the collective will of the membership of the Union. It stands as the ultimate authority upon which every decision is based. As such, it can only be amended by a 2/3 vote of the delegates at Convention of a special meeting.

Preamble

  1. The Constitution as set forth in this document shall represent the highest expression of the collective will of the membership of the Union and shall be and remain the basis upon which the Union shall function. 

Name

  1. The name of the union is the “HEALTH SCIENCES ASSOCIATION OF ALBERTA” (hereinafter referred to as the “Union” or "HSAA").
