Constitution

The Constitution is HSAA’s highest expression of the collective will of the membership of the Union. It stands as the ultimate authority upon which every decision is based. As such, it can only be amended by a 2/3 vote of the delegates at Convention of a special meeting.

Article 10 - Classification

  1. Membership in the Union shall consist of the following classes:
    1. Active members;
    2. Inactive members;
    3. Retired members;
    4. Associate members;
    5. Honorary members;
    6. Student members;
  2. A member in good standing is one who complies with provisions contained in the Constitution of the Union.
  3. A person who obtains membership through fraudulent means is not a member.
