Constitution

The Constitution is HSAA’s highest expression of the collective will of the membership of the Union. It stands as the ultimate authority upon which every decision is based. As such, it can only be amended by a 2/3 vote of the delegates at Convention of a special meeting.

Article 28 - Term of Office

  1. The President and Vice-President shall each serve a term of three (3) years.
  2. The District Board Members shall each serve a term of three (3) years.
  3. The Board Members take office at the conclusion of the convention, or the first Board meeting thereafter, but in every case no later than June 14.
  4. If elected mid-term the newly elected Executive Officer or Board Member is sworn in and takes office at the next Board meeting following their election.
