Constitution

The Constitution is HSAA’s highest expression of the collective will of the membership of the Union. It stands as the ultimate authority upon which every decision is based. As such, it can only be amended by a 2/3 vote of the delegates at Convention of a special meeting.

Article 32 - District Board Members

  1. Should a member of the Board vacate their position before completion of their three-year (3) term, the Elections/Credentials Committee shall arrange for the election of a replacement from that district.
  2. Should the term remaining for the newly elected/appointed Board Member be six (6) months or less they shall serve the balance of the term and, in addition, the following three-year (3) term of office.
