Good Samaritan Society Collective Agreement 2020-2024

Article 1: Term of Collective Agreement

1. The terms of this Collective Agreement shall be effective on and from date of ratification up to and including March 31, 2024, and from year to year thereafter unless notice, in writing, is given to either Party to the other not less than sixty (60) calendar days nor more than one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days prior to the expiration date of its desire to change or amend this Collective Agreement.
2. Where notice is served by either Party under the Alberta Labour Relations Code (the “Code”), provisions of the Collective Agreement shall continue until either:
   1. a settlement is agreed upon and a new Collective Agreement is signed; or
   2. if a settlement is not agreed upon, a new Collective Agreement is signed as provided in the Code; or
   3. a strike or lockout commences.
