Convention 2026 - Rooted and Rising

This year’s convention theme is “Rooted and Rising”. After a challenging year of negotiations and change in Alberta’s health-care system, Convention 2026 will focus on reconnecting with each other, creating strong relationships, and building for the future.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Attending Convention

No experience necessary to attend, but space is limited! Delegates are primarily assigned through Local Units, each of which manages its own delegate-selection process. Any remaining spots will be selected through a draw held by district. 

All delegates have received an email confirming their delegate spot. 

A more detailed email, including the full Convention agenda, resolutions package and more will be sent by the end of April.

Delegate Expenses & Hotels

HSAA will arrange hotel accommodations for eligible delegates and notify them of details by May 20.
