New Delegate Information

New to Convention? We've got you.

Join the New Delegate Seminar on the morning of Thursday, May 28.

Breakfast is provided, and we’ll walk you through everything you need to know, including how to take part in resolution debate.

Thursday Night Social Mixer

We’re excited to share that this year’s Thursday night mixer will take place at The Banquet (Unit #210 - 10332 103 Street NW) and will include dinner for the attendees.

The Convention Social Committee is also organizing a "Buddy Walk" from hotels to The Banquet so delegates can get to know each other better. Bring your badges!

Please note: The dinner at this event will replace the dinner per diem for that day. Members not attending may claim per diem in accordance with policy.

50/50 Draw

This year's 50/50 draw is in support of Edmonton's Food Bank and the Calgary Food Bank

Last year, we raised $7,000 for the Alberta Council of Women's Shelters. Let's beat it this year!

Medical evidence shows that scented products can be harmful to the health of sensitive individuals. In sufficient concentration scented products may be harmful to those with chronic heart disease, asthma or other lung conditions, allergies, or environmental sensitivity

All HSAA registration forms (Convention, Labour Relations Conference, Workshops) and attendance sign in sheets for meetings will contain the statement:

“The use of scents/fragrances and other highly perfumed products is discouraged.  This is out of respect for members and staff who may have allergies, asthma or other lung conditions that may be exacerbated by exposure to perfumed products.”
