Article 46: Special Events and Functions
- At the request of the Employer, an Employee may volunteer to work at any of the following special event functions including:
- Teaching
- Meetings
- Committees
- Public Events
- Not for Profit Organization Events
An Employee volunteering to work at these events shall be compensated at their Basic Rate of Pay, and the overtime Articles and premiums shall not apply. Any Employee not wishing to volunteer to work at any of these functions, such wish shall not be held against them.
