Article 37: Medical Examination and ACOP Dues
- The Employer shall pay the medical fee on behalf of ambulance services required to maintain a Class 4 driver’s license for Regular Casual Employees. Such examinations shall be arranged by the Regular Casual Employee. No compensation will be received if the Regular Casual Employee is employed full-time at another EMS service.
- ACoP Dues and professional liability insurance will be paid for all Regular Casual Employees. (No compensation will be received if the Regular Casual Employee is employed full-time at another EMS service.)
- Should a Casual Employee resign within one (1) year of payment of ACoP dues and professional liability insurance, the Employee will remit the pro-rated balance of the ACoP dues and professional liability insurance.
- Full-time Regular Employees may access their Flexible Spending Account to cover these expenses.
