Article 37: Medical Examination and ACOP Dues

  1. The Employer shall pay the medical fee on behalf of ambulance services required to maintain a Class 4 driver’s license for Regular Casual Employees. Such examinations shall be arranged by the Regular Casual Employee. No compensation will be received if the Regular Casual Employee is employed full-time at another EMS service.
  2. ACoP Dues and professional liability insurance will be paid for all Regular Casual Employees. (No compensation will be received if the Regular Casual Employee is employed full-time at another EMS service.)
  3. Should a Casual Employee resign within one (1) year of payment of ACoP dues and professional liability insurance, the Employee will remit the pro-rated balance of the ACoP dues and professional liability insurance.
  4. Full-time Regular Employees may access their Flexible Spending Account to cover these expenses.
