- Except where specifically enforced and provided otherwise, the term of this Collective Agreement shall be effective from April 1, 2023, up to and including September 30, 2026, and from year to year thereafter unless written notice in writing, is given by either party to the other not less than sixty (60) calendar days and not more than one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days prior to the expiration date of its desire to change or amend this Collective Agreement.
- Where notice is served by either party under the Labour Relations Code to commence Collective Bargaining, this Collective Agreement shall continue in full force and effect until either:
- a settlement is agreed upon and a new Collective Agreement is ratified; or
- if a settlement is not agreed upon, a new Collective Agreement is executed as provided in the Labour Relations Code.
- The Employer and the Union may agree anytime during the life of the agreement to open this Collective Agreement on specific issues.
- An Employee whose employment has terminated prior to the signing of this Collective Agreement is eligible to receive retroactively any increase(s) to basic hourly salary schedules that they would have received but for the termination of employment, upon the submission of a written application to the Employer within ninety (90) calendar days of the ratification of the Collective Agreement.
