Article 31: Evaluations and Personnel Files
- Each Employee shall receive a yearly performance appraisal.

- Meetings for the purpose of discussing performance appraisals shall be scheduled by the Employer with reasonable notice, which shall not be less than twenty-four (24) hours.
- All performance appraisals shall be in writing.
- An Employee receiving a performance appraisal shall sign such performance appraisal for the sole purpose of indicating that they are aware of the contents, and shall have the right to add comments, in writing, within seven (7) calendar days of the performance appraisal to be attached to their performance appraisal and placed in their personnel file.
- An Employee shall be given a copy of the performance appraisal and their comments, if any.

- With at least one (1) day’s notice, an Employee shall have the right to view their personnel file once each year or when the Employee has filed a grievance. The Employee may be accompanied by an Union Representative if the Employee so desires.
- An Employee shall be given a copy of the contents of their personnel file provided that they first pays to the Employer a reasonable fee to cover the costs of the copying, such fee to be determined by the Employer.
