Article 1: Term of Collective Agreement
- The terms of this Collective Agreement shall be effective on and from February 1, 2020 to January 31, 2024, and from year to year thereafter unless notice, in writing, is given by either party to the other not less than sixty (60) calendar days nor more than one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days prior to the expiration date of its desire to change or amend this Collective Agreement.
- Where notice is served by either party under the Labour Relations Code, provisions of the Collective Agreement shall continue until either:
- a settlement is agreed upon and a new Collective Agreement is signed; or
- if a settlement is not agreed upon, a new Collective Agreement is signed as provided in the Labour Relations Code; or
- a strike or lockout commences.
