LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #19

BETWEEN

COVENANT HEALTH
 (hereinafter referred to as the Employer)

- and -

HEALTH SCIENCES ASSOCIATION OF ALBERTA
(hereinafter referred to as the Union)

RE: EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS

The Employee’s portion of all monies from Employment Insurance Commission Premium Reductions (EI rebate) will be paid out as a lump sum bi-weekly and when an eligible Employee terminates or transfers to an employment status which is not eligible for the payment.

EI Rebate will be paid out annually, all Employees will be transitioned by March 31, 2016.

This Letter of Understanding will expire March 31, 2024, or upon the date of ratification of the next Collective Agreement, whichever is later.
