Article 41: Employee-Management Advisory Committee

  1. The Parties to this Collective Agreement agree to establish, upon request by Party, an Employee-Management Advisory Committee(s) (EMAC) or the equivalent for promoting harmonious relationships and discussing topics of mutual concern between the Employees and the Employer.  EMACs are limited to discussing issues outside of the Collective Agreement.

  2. Employee representatives to EMAC shall be appointed by their local unit executive. 

  3. The Parties will develop a Terms of Reference for the Committee that reflects the local needs.

  4. There shall be no loss of income for time spent by Employees at meetings and in carrying out the functions of this Committee.
