Article 26: Pension Plan
- The Employer shall contribute to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Pension Plan, or an alternate plan agreed to by the Union. Contributions to the plan will be shared by the Employer and Employee at a rate of eight percent (8%) each of the Employee’s annual salary to provide benefits for participating full-time Employees provided they are scheduled to work at least twenty-five (25) hours per week averaged over one (1) complete cycle of the shift schedule, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plan. A copy of a brochure outlining the plan shall be provided to each eligible Employee.
