Preamble
WHEREAS the parties are mutually desirous of establishing terms and conditions of employment, an orderly method of resolving differences, and harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union:
AND WHEREAS the parties agree that the primary purpose of the Employer is to provide the Communities with efficient competent Emergency Communications/ Emergency Medical Services, it is the intent of the parties to:
Ensure the provisions of the best quality service and care at a Basic or Advanced Life Support Level (BLS) or (ALS).
Protect the interest of patients, employees and the community.
Maintain harmonious relations between the Employer and the Employees.
Recognize the mutual value of joint discussions and negotiations in all matters of mutual concern to the parties.
Ensure the provisions of capable and timely 911 Call Answer/Dispatch service.
NOW THEREFORE the parties agree as follows:
