Article 26: Pension Plan
- Effective April 1, 2014 all eligible Employees shall be given the option to participate in the Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. Pension Plan for Eligible Hourly Employees.
- The Pension Plan shall be open to all eligible Full-Time Employees, subject to enrolment requirements, other than those Employees who are already members of another pension plan with the Employer on April 23, 2013.
- The Employee and the Employer shall make matching biweekly contributions of three percent (3%) of their basic rate of pay.
- The implementation and operation of the Pension Plan referred to above shall, at all times, be subject to and governed by the terms and conditions outlined in the pension plan information brochures and the terms and conditions of the policies or contracts entered into with the pension carrier. The Employer shall make available to all Employees participating in these plans and to the Union copies of information brochures.
- Such coverage shall be provided to eligible employees as per the plan text enrollment requirements.
