Article 7: No Strike or Lockout
- HSAA agrees that during the life of this Collective Agreement, it will not be involved in nor will it condone or authorize a strike, slowdown, stoppage of work, picketing of ECAA’s premises, or refusal to perform work, and no Employee shall be involved in such action.
If an Employee engages in a strike, slowdown, stoppage of work, picketing of an ECAA premises, or refusal to perform work, during the life of this Collective Agreement, the HSAA shall instruct them to return to work immediately and perform their duties faithfully and resort to the grievance procedure established herein for the settlement of a dispute or grievance. If the Employee does not return and comply immediately with such direction, they shall be deemed to have terminated their employment.
ECAA agrees that during the life of this Collective Agreement it will not sanction or authorize any lockout.
