Article 16: Shift Differential and Weekend Premium
- Shift Differential
- A shift differential of two dollars and seventy five ($2.75) shall be paid to:
- full time Employees working a shift wherein the majority of the hours of such shift falls within the period sixteen (1600) hours to twenty four hundred (2400) hours; or
- Shift differential shall not be considered part of the basic hourly rate of pay.
- A shift differential of two dollars and seventy five ($2.75) shall be paid to:
- Weekend Premium
- A weekend premium of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) shall be paid:
- to full-time Employees working a rotation where a weekend shift is part of the regular work week;
- part-time Employees shall not be entitled to the weekend premium.
- A weekend premium of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) shall be paid:
- Eligible Employees will receive the greater of, shift differentials, weekend premiums or overtime premiums, but there shall be no pyramiding or stacking of these payments.
