Article 36: Pension Plan

  1. After an Employee has completed probation, the Employer shall contribute to the Local Authorities Pension Plan, or an alternate plan agreed to by the Union, as applicable, to provide benefits for participating Employees provided they are scheduled to work at least thirty (30) hours per week averaged annually, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plan. A copy of a brochure outlining the plan shall be provided by the Employer to each eligible Employee.
  2. The Employer agrees that, it will comply with the LAPP legislation and regulations in effect (as amended from time to time), for Employees eligible per Article 36.01 above.
