Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) Member

EMACs offer a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with your employer to address workplace issues that fall outside of the Collective Agreement.

They act as a point of contact for members to bring forward concerns and work with the employer to explore options and support effective solutions.

EMAC terms are set out in their Terms of Reference and are generally two years. Meetings take place during regular work hours, and members are compensated at their usual rate of pay.

Every worksite has the right to establish an EMAC.
