On October 2, HSAA members showed up, together, for a Day of Unity, delivering a message that could not be ignored. The message:
- Our health system will not function without us.
- Short-staffing and burnout are real.
- We are stretched to our limit.
- We need a deal that recognizes our full value.
- Health-care professionals and Albertans deserve better.
The turnout was incredible as thousands of members gathered across the province in locations in Calgary, Edmonton, Stony Plain, St. Albert, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Red Deer.
You were loud and united. The media, government and public were watching...
