Intro to LUE (Edmonton)

Are you a new Local Unit Executive? This workshop is designed specifically for you. Throughout the two days we will clearly define the roles and responsibilities of each local unit executive position, discuss your vital role of welcoming new members and explain the local unit and delegate election process. We will discuss your role as effective workplace leaders and in building strong relationships with your membership, the union and management. We will also spend some time learning about chairing meetings and introduce a few strategies to encourage member involvement in both the local unit and the union activities and projects.
