HSAA is coming to worksites across Alberta

HSAA is planning in-person site visits across Alberta to hear directly from members and stay connected to what is happening at worksites. These visits are part of HSAA’s ongoing work to make sure members have opportunities to ask questions, raise concerns and help identify issues that may need follow-up.

What to expect

Site visits will be informal and drop-in style. Members can stop by when they are able, including during breaks, lunch or before or after a shift. 

Members will be able to: 

  • meet HSAA representatives, Local Unit leaders, Labour Relations staff and elected leaders 
  • learn about union supports, education, advocacy and member resources 
  • share workplace feedback 
  • take part in activities, prize draws and member appreciation opportunities, including food or snacks where available

Site visits are scheduled to take place between 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Room locations and site-specific details will be shared with members closer to each visit date.

Member appreciation events

HSAA is planning members-only appreciation events to celebrate members and create more opportunities to connect with each other and with their Union outside the workplace. 

Participation in these events is limited. Attendance will be selected through a random draw. Members must enter by the deadline to be considered, and submitting an entry does not guarantee a spot.
