Rexall Pharmacies Calgary Bargaining Update #3

Your bargaining committee met with the Employer met the employer for four very full days May 5-8, 2025.

We set the parameters and conveyed our goal of achieving a collective agreement that meets your needs and interests. 

We agreed that we would focus initially on all the proposals that were primarily non- monetary since there was no direct financial cost or benefit. This is the usual practice at bargaining tables.

We tabled a number of important non-monetary items that we believe would benefit both Rexall and our members. 

Through respectful but frank dialogue we were able to achieve a number of changes that we believe will be beneficial for both parties.

We will meet with the employer again during the week of June 9 to discuss a number of the monetary issues and concerns that you identified in the member survey.

We hope that we will make progress in these areas as well.
