Prairie EMS Inc. Bargaining Update #1 – Non-Monetary Negotiations

Your Bargaining Committee met with Prairie Emergency Medical Systems Inc. on May 5, 6, 7, and 8 to begin negotiations for your new Collective Agreement. These first sessions were introductory and focused on non-monetary proposals.

We came to the table prepared and ready to advance proposals that reflect the priorities and professionalism of Prairie EMS members. Over four days, we engaged in constructive discussions and mutually agreed to strengthen some language in the current contract.

We have tentatively scheduled our next bargaining dates for August 5, 6, and 7, when we will begin monetary discussions. Your committee is organized, focused and committed to achieving the improvements you deserve, recognizing the critical work you do.
