In line with the best financial practices at other unions and member-led organizations, HSAA has launched a new Ethic Alert platform that provides a safe, secure, and anonymous way for members, staff and others to report concerns such as fraud, unethical behaviour, or policy violations by HSAA officers, staff or agents.
Run by independent third party MNP LLP, this whistleblower hotline is intended for anonymously and confidentially reporting serious issues such as fraud, financial misconduct, misuse of resources, policies, or ethics violations at HSAA.
Based in Calgary, MNP is one of the largest accounting and business advisory firms in Canada. All information provided to MNP is safe, secure and completely confidential.

The complaint should include a detailed description of the alleged Wrongdoing; the name of the individual(s) alleged; the date(s) of the wrongdoing; and any additional information that may reasonably be required to investigate the matter.
All individuals involved, including the complainant, witnesses, and respondent, are entitled to confidentiality to the extent that it does not compromise the integrity of the investigation.
