Good Samaritan Bargaining Update #5 - Negotiations Resume

HSAA and Alberta Health Services (AHS) negotiations have concluded, clearing the way for us to return to the bargaining table in the new year with a clear mandate on our monetary proposals.

It is our expectation that The Good Samaritan Society (GSS) comes to the bargaining table prepared to discuss fair and reasonable compensation and benefits that respect the important contributions our members make in their roles. We will make it clear that our members expect nothing less than wages that maintain parity with your professional colleagues working for AHS and Covenant Health.

We are scheduled to resume bargaining on January 23, 2026, with additional dates booked into March.
