Christenson Communities Ltd. Bargaining Update #3

Your Bargaining Committee met with your employer March 10 and 11, 2025. We spent the two days discussing outstanding non-monetary articles and exchanged monetary proposals. There was some success, as the parties signed off on four (4) monetary articles. Unfortunately, at the end of the second day, your employer informed us they do not wish to continue negotiations without the assistance of the mediator due to the differing positions on the remaining wages and benefits items. This is frustrating and disappointing as it is clear there is still work to do to reach a fair agreement.

Despite this setback, we are committed to continuing the fight for what you deserve. Our next bargaining dates are scheduled on April 14 and 15, 2025, at which time we will be bargaining with the assistance of a mediator.

Please be advised that Marnie Stuart has moved into a leadership role with HSAA. Labour Relations Officer, Karen Caig, has joined our Bargaining Committee as we continue negotiations with your employer.
