CASA Mental Health Bargaining Update #1

Your Bargaining Committee met on May 26, 2026 for a full day of proposal preparation. During this session, we reviewed the current Collective Agreement along with the priorities and mandate identified by the membership through your survey responses. We are pleased to report that our proposal package has been finalized and endorsed by the Board. We are ready for our first meeting with the employer.

What happens next?

We are scheduled to meet with the employer on June 17–18, 2026, to exchange non-monetary proposals. During these meetings, both parties will review each other’s proposals and seek clarity on the intent and rationale behind them.

Bargaining Committee update

Due to a conflict of interest, one of your Bargaining Committee members has stepped down. Following a review of the previous Expression of Interest voting results, we are pleased to welcome Sarah Scoble to the committee.
