CapitalCare Collective Agreement Ratified

HSAA members covered under the CapitalCare agreement have voted to ratify the tentative agreement reached on June 20, 2026. 

Members who cast a ballot voted 100% in favour of accepting the agreement. With 153 ballots cast, voter turnout was 70% of the eligible voters. 

The employer has confirmed ratification of the agreement. The agreement will take effect on July 13, 2026, and covers April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2028.

 A draft agreement will be posted to the website as soon as possible.

 A retroactive payment date is being discussed with CapitalCare and we will provide you further information once available.

This agreement reflects the commitment and hard work of Bargaining Committee members Arpan Jassar and Bruce Meldrum represented members throughout negotiations. HSAA thanks all members for their support and participation throughout the process.
