CapitalCare Bargaining Update #10

Bargaining updates

Your Bargaining Committee met with CapitalCare for two days on February 25 and March 2.

Monetary discussions are ongoing, with many articles still to be discussed. The parties remain focused on discussing individual articles to better understand each other’s perspectives. During these two previous bargaining days, discussions have been centered on five articles.

Three articles were signed off:

  • Article 9: Probationary Period
  • Article 10: Hours of Work
  • Article 12: Overtime

HSAA also provided two counter proposals to the employer for review and response.

At this stage, 11 non-monetary articles and 30 monetary articles remain open for discussion. Bargaining will resume with dates scheduled on March 25 and 27.
