Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority 911 Telecommunicators Collective Agreement Ratified by both parties

We are happy to announce that after a full day of collective bargaining, we have our first transitional agreement for BRFA 911 Telecommunicators. This agreement will be an addendum to the current BRFA Collective Agreement of April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2026.

Members voted to ratify the agreement, with 100% voting in favour!

Your concerns for increased wages were heard, and as a result, we were able to secure a 6% wage increase for the remainder of the current contract. 

In addition to the wage increases, we were successful in negotiating changes in schedules and a temporary relaxation of the uniform pant requirements. (until we return to bargaining in April 2026).
