Bonnyville Health Centre (GSS) Bargaining Update #7

Your Bargaining Committee was scheduled to meet with the employer on March 24 and 25 to continue negotiations.

While we are extremely motivated to get back to the table, we are aware of some ongoing discussions and decisions outside of our negotiations that may affect our membership and our potential for gains at our bargaining table. 

For that reason, we have made a conscious and calculated decision to step back for a few weeks to wait and observe the employer’s actions before proceeding with our monetary position.  

We recognize that this delay may be frustrating. However, we are confident that you appreciate our need to be very secure in our monetary asks, and very deliberate in our timing, helping us achieve the very best results for our members.   

What happens next

New bargaining dates have been scheduled for May 20 and 21.
