The new agreement is in effect as of July 6, 2026, and covers the period of April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2029. Some changes take effect immediately, while others will take effect at a later date.

April 1, 2025
- The new 9 Step Wage Grid has been implemented.
- A 3% increase to the basic hourly rate applies from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
- The 3% increase to the basic hourly rate applies retroactively.
April 1, 2026
- The 3% increase to the basic hourly rate applies retroactively.
July 6, 2026
- ACPs receive a 4% increase to their basic hourly rate.
- PCPs receive an 8.44% increase to their basic hourly rate.
- All language changes and changes/additions to premiums take effect unless stated otherwise, including On-Call, Preceptor Pay, Mentorship Pay, Night Shift Premium, Weekend Premium, Duty Incurred Expenses, etc. Associated Ambulance will provide information on how to claim new premiums.
- An additional $400 becomes available in the Taxable Spending Account. Associated Ambulance has advised that it will take approximately five business days for this benefit to show up in your account. You may submit receipts for reimbursement after that time. On January 1, 2027, the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) will be $3,200.
- An additional $500 becomes available for massage therapy. Associated Ambulance has advised that it will take approximately five business days for this benefit to show up in your account. You may submit receipts for reimbursement after that time. On January 1, 2027, $1,000 will be available for massage therapy.
- Members may increase RRSP contributions to 6%. Contact Associated Ambulance Payroll at payroll@associatedambulance.com to make changes, as applicable.
- The Long Service Program takes effect. Anyone who successfully completes their 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, and every five-year full-time employment milestone after that, will be entitled to receive the corresponding payment on their first tour following completion of the milestone. Contact Associated Ambulance at humanresources@associatedambulance.com if you believe you have reached a long service milestone, and Associated Ambulance will conduct a review of its records.
- The Long Service Program also takes effect for all regular full-time employees between service milestones who have more than 15 years with Associated Ambulance. Associated Ambulance will contact you to get direction on how you wish to allocate your funds. Contact Associated Ambulance at humanresources@associatedambulance.com if you believe you have reached a long service milestone, and it will conduct a review of its records.
January 1, 2027
- The Psychological Benefit, in the amount of $3,000, becomes available to all members.
Associated Ambulance has indicated that members can expect to receive all retro pay owed no later than the September 21, 2026, paycheque.
