Associated Ambulance Bargaining Update: Tentative Agreement ratified

HSAA members covered under the Associated Ambulance & Services (Whitecourt) Ltd. agreement have voted to ratify the tentative agreement reached on June 24, 2026.

Members who cast a ballot voted 89.77% in favour of accepting the agreement. With 88 ballots cast, voter turnout was 68% of the eligible voters.

The agreement will take effect on July 6, 2026, and covers April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2029.

The wage and premium increases will be reflected in the first full paycheque issued on August 7, 2026.

A draft agreement will be posted to the website as soon as possible.

A retroactive payment date is being discussed with Associated Ambulance & Services (Whitecourt) Ltd., and we will provide you further information once available.

This agreement reflects the commitment and hard work of Bargaining Committee members Garett Wardley, Michael Tomiak, and Les Rude, who represented members throughout negotiations. HSAA thanks all members for their support and participation throughout the process.
