What was discussed
Bargaining continues to progress in a constructive and positive manner.
Agreement has been reached on several items, including:
- Improvements to Article 19 – Employee Benefit Plans
- Improvements to Article 17 – Sick Leave
- Changes to language in Article 16 – Named Holidays
- Article 44 – Job Share
- A new Memorandum of Agreement regarding the Long Service Program
Where discussions stand
The committee remains focused on advancing and resolving the remaining outstanding items, with the objective of reaching a fair and comprehensive agreement.
What happens next?
Your bargaining committee is scheduled to meet again with the Employer on May 14, and June 9, 10, and 11, 2026. These sessions will focus exclusively on finalizing the monetary package.
