Associated Ambulance Bargaining Update #5

Your bargaining committee met with Associated Ambulance, on November 25 and 26. We are pleased to share that we have reached agreement on the majority of non-monetary items, including new language for Land Acknowledgements and Article 12 (Special Assignments), as well as improvements to Article 29 (Uniform and Clothing) uniform allocation. We also agreed to maintain the current language in the Benefit-Eligible Casual Employee (BECE) Letter of Understanding.

On November 26, we also exchanged monetary proposals. We had a detailed and constructive discussion with the employer regarding our comprehensive monetary package, emphasizing that it reflects the priorities and direction provided by our membership.

Our next bargaining dates are set for February 23, 24, and 25. We will provide regular updates to keep members informed as progress continues.
