Associated Ambulance Bargaining Update #2 - Bargaining Dates

Your bargaining committee has continued its diligent preparation for the upcoming negotiations with Associated Ambulance. Building on previous planning efforts and member feedback from the bargaining survey, we remain focused on the core priorities that matter most to you.

Due to the vacation season and scheduling constraints on both sides, there are no available dates in July or August to meet with the employer. The earliest opportunity to commence bargaining is in September, and we have secured the following dates with Associated Ambulance: September 17, 18, 19 and October 16 and 17.

Prior to the start of formal bargaining, the committee will meet on August 15 and September 15 to review proposals and make any necessary adjustments. These internal meetings are essential to ensure our strategy remains aligned with your needs and reflects the most current developments — particularly as bargaining at the AHS/HSAA table remains ongoing. This parallel process may provide further insight into EMS-specific trends that could shape our discussions.

We will continue to keep you informed with regular updates throughout this process. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your Labour Relations Officers: Tammy Milliken at TammyM@hsaa.ca or Kamal Kahlon at KamalK@hsaa.ca.

Thank you for your continued support and solidarity. We look forward to advocating on your behalf and achieving strong results at the bargaining table.

In solidarity,
