AHS Tentative Agreement Rejected

In one of the highest voter turnouts we’ve ever seen, you voted to reject the tentative agreement reached with your employer.

  • 59.37% opposed
  • 40.63% in favour

78% of eligible members participated.

You sent a clear message that this deal does not do enough to support you.

Thank-you to those of you who took the time to review the tentative agreement, attend info sessions, and cast your vote.

We know this has been a long and difficult process. The fact that so many of you engaged, asked questions, and showed up for each other reflects the strength of this Union.

What’s next?

The ideal next step is to get a deal with the employer that will recognize your worth and the incredible pressure you work under.

Your work is critical to the health and well-being of Albertans. Every day, in every corner of the province, you deliver expert care in incredibly challenging conditions, and you deserve a workplace that supports you in return.

Over the coming weeks, your Union will be engaging you to support our next steps. Details will follow soon.
