Faika Satterthwaite — elected, Calgary District
Darlene Fetaz — elected, Central District

- Nancy Arlinghaus — acclaimed, North District
Edmonton District
Kris Moskal was acclaimed during the standard election period; a second call for nominations was done for the remaining Edmonton District position. After the close of the second call for nominations on April 19, no nominations had been received; therefore, no election
was held.
On April 20, 2023, HSAA received two post-deadline nomination forms from candidates, Ella Lunn and Dean Rombough. The seat was acclaimed as per policy 2.01 “The District seat will remain vacant until such time as the Elections/Credentials Committee receives a nomination in accordance with the Constitution, at which time that person will assume the District seat as Board Member.”
Dean Rombough was the first candidate to submit a nomination package after the second call for nominations closed and was declared the successful candidate.
Calgary District
We would also like to inform you that during the Calgary District Board Election, a complaint was made against Shawn Lorenz. After an investigation by the CRO and an endorsement by the Election Credentials Committee, the actions were determined to be in violation of election policies. As a result, they were disqualified as a candidate.
The complaint was received after voting had commenced, and the investigation concluded after the closing of voting. As a result, changes to the ballot were not feasible and the results posted will reflect the remaining candidates.
Your Board elect will take office at the end of Convention on May 26, 2023, for a three-year term concluding at the end of the Convention in 2026.
