Bonnyville Health Centre (GSS) Bargaining Update: TENTATIVE AGREEMENT RATIFIED

HSAA members covered under the Covenant Health Bonnyville GSS agreement have voted to ratify the tentative agreement reached on May 20, 2026.

Members who cast a ballot voted 100% in favour of accepting the agreement. With 42 ballots cast, voter turnout was 61% of the eligible voters.

The agreement will take effect on June 10, 2026 and covers April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2028.

A draft agreement will be posted to the website as soon as possible.

A retroactive payment date is being discussed with Covenant Health Bonnyville GSS, and we will provide you further information once available.

Retroactive payment for former employees

In accordance with Article 1.04, employees who terminated before the new contract was ratified have until August 9, 2026, to submit a request for retroactive payment.

Requests should be emailed to HRBusinessSupport@covenanthealth.ca and include:

  • Subject line: HSAA GSS retro
  • Employee name
  • Employee number, if available
  • Termination date
  • Updated banking information, only if it has changed since the date of termination. Otherwise, payment will be made by direct deposit to the bank account on file.
