CASA Mental Health Bargaining Update #2

Your Bargaining Committee met with the employer on June 17 and 18 to exchange non-monetary packages. Both parties have agreed to hold off on exchanging monetary packages until the non-monetary packages have been worked through first.

The discussions were productive and respectful, and the parties were able to sign off on 12 non-monetary articles and Letters of Understanding. Eight of those were signed off as current language with no changes made, and four were signed off amended.

What happens next

Due to summer availability, the next bargaining dates are scheduled for August 31 and September 1, 2026.
